Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana reviewed in the Collectorate’s meeting

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Ashutosh Trivedi, the updated status of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was reviewed today in the Collectorate’s meeting room. In the meeting, the status of providing land to landless beneficiaries in the waiting list of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and execution of auction letter suit filed against the beneficiaries who did not construct houses under the said scheme was reviewed. It was directed by the Deputy Development Commissioner that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, work should be ensured at a fast pace towards providing land to the landless so that housing can be constructed for them. Blockwise target set and updated status against it was reviewed.

It was informed in the meeting that in the waiting list of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the number of landless beneficiaries in the district is 1224, out of which the maximum number is 483 in Musahari while 165 in Kanti. Against 1224 landless beneficiaries, the process of land availability to 1006 beneficiaries will be completed in the next week. After that, the cards will be distributed to them.

At the same time, the performance review was done after the auction was filed on the beneficiaries who did not construct houses under the scheme. It was informed that in the district, an auction letter suit has been filed against 761 beneficiaries, in which notice has been given against 278, while the number of notices received is 174. In this regard, the Deputy Development Commissioner gave strict instructions to issue more and more notices and get the same done and after that, the attempt is to ensure to take further legal action.

Along with this, in order to review the updated status of online mutation in the meeting, Additional Collector Rajesh Kumar directed that it should be ensured to expedite the work of online mutation. Strict action will be taken for negligence in the above work. It was told in the meeting that so far 341593 applications for e-mutation have been received, against this 304244 applications have been executed which is 89.07% of the target. The Additional Collector said that the salary of the Circle Officer of the circles whose condition is not satisfactory has been postponed and it has been directed that the applications received related to e-mutation should be ensured at a fast pace.
