Patna :Deputy Mayor’s son held for consuming liquor, 3 others arrested

Despite the liquor ban in Bihar, high-class people are still enjoying liquor parties. The son of Patna Deputy Mayor Rajni Devi has been arrested by the police in between a liquor party at home with his friends. Deputy Mayor’s son, Ashish Yadav, alias Golu has been caught in the Digha police station area. According to the news, Ashish was having a liquor party with his three friends late on Saturday night. They were drinking alcohol and had locked the room from inside. The police got information about this after which they reached the spot and caught him red-handed.

After raiding inside the house, the police team caught all 4 people including the deputy mayor’s son Ashish Yadav. All the four people arrested were brought to the police station. A test was done with a breath analyzer, in which everyone’s drinking was confirmed through the reports. The police proceeded with the needed legal action and registered an FIR.

Three bottles of liquor were also recovered from the spot. The other three arrested persons were identified as Dhananjay Kumar (36), Mohammad Vakil (31), and Ishwar Singh (26),” said the Station House Officer (SHO) of Digha police station, Rajesh Singh.

The secretary of the Bihar Cricket Association was caught 3 days ago in Patna while he was drunk. It is worth noting that there is a complete prohibition on the sale of liquor in Bihar, but still, the buying and selling of liquor is being done openly just like the old times. Home delivery of liquor is being done in every small and big city of Bihar including Patna. The liquor ban imposed with good intentions has become a major source of income for the police. Every year hundreds of millionaires are being born with all the black money they earn from the illegal liquor business.
